Bespoke Woven Art
for Your Interior

Thoughtfully developed textile artworks created for the scale, mood and character of a specific space.

A Custom Piece, Made the Lale Studio & Shop Way

Our custom orders are created for clients who want something more personal than ready made wall decor. Whether you are furnishing a private home, working on an interior design project or sourcing for a carefully curated commercial space, we develop each piece individually with attention to atmosphere, scale, material and display.

Every custom work is handmade in Poland and shaped through real conversation, thoughtful decisions and skilled weaving.

Where a Custom Piece Begins

Some custom projects begin from an existing Lale Studio & Shop design. Others begin from a color story, a material feeling or simply the atmosphere a client wants to create. In both cases, the goal is the same: to develop a woven work that feels truly connected to the space rather than chosen by chance.

How the Custom Process Works

01

Share the Space and Direction

Send us the room, approximate wall size, visual mood, inspiration images or a Lale piece you would like to start from.

02

We Review the Possibilities

We look at scale, materials, mounting method and overall atmosphere to understand what would work best.

03

Proposal and Quotation

You receive a tailored response with direction, approximate lead time and pricing based on the complexity of the project.

04

Handmade Creation

Once approved, the tapestry is created by hand in our studio in Poland using the materials best suited to the piece.

05

Finishing and Shipping

The completed work is prepared for its final presentation, carefully inspected and packed before shipping.

What Can Be Customized

Size and Proportion

We can adapt the scale of the work to your wall and the proportions of the interior.

Color Direction

The palette can be developed around soft neutrals, earthy tones or selected accents suited to the room.

Material Character

Most works are based mainly on wool and wood, while selected pieces may also include cotton, acrylic, bamboo rods or metal rods when the composition calls for it.

Frame or Hanging Style

Depending on the piece, we can develop a framed work or a hanging tapestry presented on a bamboo or metal rod.

Starting Point

A custom order can begin from an existing Lale Studio & Shop design or from an entirely new direction.

Texture and Presence

We can guide the work toward a calmer minimal texture or a richer, more sculptural material presence.

You Do Not Need Everything Decided

You do not need to come to us with a fully resolved concept. If you already know the room, general mood, approximate size or a piece from our collection that inspires you, that is enough to begin. From there, we help shape the direction together.

What Helps Us Prepare the Best Response

  • Preferred size Even approximate dimensions help us understand proportion and scale.
  • Room photo or wall view This gives us context for light, palette and the visual weight of the piece.
  • Inspiration images You can send mood references, interiors or an existing Lale Studio & Shop piece.
  • Timeline Useful if the piece is connected to a project deadline or installation date.
  • Budget range Optional, but helpful if you want us to recommend the most suitable direction.
  • Type of project Private home, interior design project, hospitality or another professional context.

For Interior Designers and Professional Projects

Lale Studio & Shop also works with interior designers, stylists and selected hospitality or commercial projects. We can help with scale, palette direction, material presence and the overall role of the tapestry within the interior.

Custom Works and Final Approval

Because custom works are developed specifically for each client and space, they are generally treated as final sale. We always aim to make the process clear from the beginning and confirm the most important details before production starts. Slight differences in texture, rhythm or tone are a natural part of handmade work and part of what makes each piece unique.
